End-of-Summer DIY Tree Craft No. 2: Mason Jar Tree Vase
This easy homemade craft adds a magical element to any backyard party or outdoor weeding décor. Spruce up your trees with these recycled Mason jar vases made mostly of natural materials you can find right in your landscape!
Recycled Mason Jars
Metal Jewelry Wire
Tea Light Candles
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
1. Tie ribbon in a bow around the top of the jar.
2. Hot glue ribbon securely to the jar, so it stays in place.
3. Take a foot of jewelry wire and attach it to the left and right side of the ribbon bow, creating a handle.
4a. OPTION 1: Fill Mason jar with rocks, 1 cup of water and flowers to create an outdoor tree vase.
4b. OPTION 2: Fill Mason jar with ½ cup of sand and a tea light candle for an outdoor tree light in a jar.
5. Make special any occasion, from weddings to backyard gatherings, with your new tree vase or twinkling outdoor light.
